This Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy review smells of rich mahogany

Anchroman review

Three, count ‘em, three reviews going up today. Why? Because I think you’re great. This first one was written quite a while back. I’ve been saving it!

Plot

I’m just not that much of a fan of this kind of “comedy”…the kind where they drag things out way beyond their welcome and take things to extremes just because they can.

Characters

Brick definitely steals the show, but Veronica’s sudden “I love Ron now” change of heart came out of nowhere.

Visuals

The animated sequence is a lot of fun, as was the whole 70s vibe the movie had.

Product Placement

Not enough to worry with.

Rewatchability

I saw this once before, and mostly only sat through it again to do this review. I can see where other people would like it, though.

  1. A classic that will never get old. At least not for me, that is. Good review.
